Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We were staying nearby and found Liang Liong on Google reviews. We ordered the Koloke Chicken and Beef Chow Mein with white rice. Both dishes were wonderfully presented and had excellent flavour plus there was an ample amount for the two of us. It wasn't very busy but the service was excellent and the meal came pretty quickly. Really excellent spot; highly recommended."
"Underestimated gem. The food was really good, staff friendly and restaurant clean. Aircon area, so no flies and with nice background music. Kids loved and wanted to come back. We wish we knew about this restaurant before. It would save a lot of walking around to try to find good food. Totally recommend is you are staying at BRR or Conrad looking for good meal."
"Amazing place! During our one week stay we came here many times as it became our comfort food. We tried a lot from the menu and nothing disappointed us. So delicious and the staff especially the lady behind the bar is sooo sweet and friendly."
"The food was really good and the service and atmosphere was good as well. We really enjoyed the homemade chili paste made by the restaurant and all the food portions were really filling. The Google reviews were not lying when they said this place was good"
"Great little restaurant. Mandarin chicken and rice was very tasty and at a very reasonable price. I have a peanut allergy so asked about this, and the lovely lady assured me there were no peanuts. I didn't have any problems and the food was really good and peanut free! If you're a tourist like me, and staying in a nearby hotel/resort this is a great place for some yum food away from the hotel, and a way to support a little local business."
"Good and quick service. Restaurant has air conditioning but i was ordering for take away. Mandarin chicken set was tasty (though i found it a little too sweet). Fairly inexpensive and didnt need to wait very long. Veggies and tofu was nice"
"Updated review- now my 5th time here in 3 months and just hits the spot every time Fresh food and delicious. Ordered the garlic rice with mandarin chicken which tastes like orange chicken and the koloke chicken which is like a sweet and sour chicken and a order of the crunchy prawns with sweet and sour sauce. Everything was so hot and fresh and tasted amazing. I’ll be back again for more. I didn’t get a chance to take photos but I’ll upload it next time I go. It’s worth a visit! Very good food and service."
"I initially walked past this place because I thought it was either some fast food place or some expensive Chinese restaurant. How wrong I was. Its basically a warung but in a really nice premises that we would expect to find in western countries. But its cheap like a warun, the service is great, they take credit card with no extra service charge. I had the Combo A meal which was the mandarin chicken and rice for 43K and the fried wontons which were so tasty. Again, skip the expensive places that are geared for tourist and come to this place."
